RCAF Veteran of WWII
Peacefully , on Friday, April 20, 2018, at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Mary Helen Francis (née Meade). Devoted father of Kimberley, Robert (Dianne). Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Corey, Robert and Daniel. Great-grandfather to Theodore, Mila and Bennett. Beloved brother of Theresa and predeceased by Thomas, William and Gertrude. John’s memory will always be cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of 8W at the General Hospital and the staff of the Perley Rideau.
A Memorial Service for John will be celebrated at St. Philip Church, Richmond (127 Burke St.) on
Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:30. Inurnment in the parish cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations to Ottawa Humane Society are appreciated.
