With family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital, Peter passed away in his 73rd year on Saturday, April 21, 2018. He will be missed by his beloved fur baby Lady. Loving brother of Ted Boyer Sr. and Lyma. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Peter leaves his lifelong friend Dave Scanlon. Dear son of the Late Pete Boyer Sr. and Marcella Boyer. Predeceased by his siblings Garney, Bill, Clarence, Tim, Stanley, Caroline, Carmelita and Margaret.
Peter was educated at King’s Western University College at Western University obtaining his degree in sociology and worked many years serving as a Child Youth Worker. Peter was known as a jokester who had a jolly personality. He loved to play hockey and baseball. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his many family members and friends.
Friends may call at the Mississaugi First Nation Hall on Friday, April 27, 2018 between 12pm and 5pm. Celebration of life will begin at 2pm with Father Ignatius Xavier officiating. A feast will follow the service.
