1925-2018
Walker, Frances Lydia, 92 of Antigonish and formerly of
Guysborough passed away on April 19, 2018, in the R.K. MacDonald
Nursing Home, Antigonish.
Born in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late John and
Agnes MacLaren. Frances lived in New Lisakeard, Ontario;
Hamilton, Ontario; and Nova Scotia.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Klara Walker; sister,
Beryl Bush; and nieces and nephews, all in Ontario.
Predeceased by her husband, James Norman Walker; sons, Norman
and Murray Ivan; brothers, Kenneth, Ivan, Harold, and Vernon (her
twin); and sisters, Audrey and Joyce.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Antigonish, on Monday,
April 30, at 1:00pm, Cameron Cresine officiating.
Thanks and appreciation to the staff at the R.K. MacDonald
Nursing Home for eight years of love and compassionate care.
In Memoriam, donations to the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home Foundation
appreciated.
