TOMLINSON, Gregory Bruce
Peacefully on Monday, April 16th, our beloved Gregory Tomlinson, 68, of Kemptville, Ontario, passed away at the Kemptville District Hospital after a short but brave battle with cancer. Greg was born in Montreal, Quebec to Albert and Irene (Sellars) Tomlinson. On February 14, 1997 he married his soulmate Susan Reid in Stittsville, ON. Greg worked as a Sales Manager for most of his career and was highly respected by his associates, retiring only a few years prior to his passing. He was a talented drummer, enjoyed golfing and had a passion for wine and food. He spent most of his weekends gardening, barbequing, cooking and spending time with his beloved wife, Susan.
Beloved husband and best friend of Susan Reid. Brother of Keith Tomlinson (Donna). Cherished father of Jacqueline Tomlinson and Vanessa Sorgard (Chris). Loving stepfather of Matthew Guest (Deborah), Adam Guest, Travis Guest (Jocelyn), and Reid Guest (Colleen); Grandfather of Griffin, Liam, Cohen, Finley, and Sadie; Stepgrandfather of Samantha, Ethan, Halle, and Adrienne. He will be missed, celebrated and loved forever.
A Memorial Visitation will take place at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 805 Prescott St, Kemptville on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 from 1 pm to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
