Passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Pearce Clarence Nicholas, age 77 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Mary Nicholas; brothers, Robert, Ben (Marie) and David; sister, Viola Day; brothers-in-law, Scott Callahan and Cliff Fifield. Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Prudence; children, Todd, Stephanie (Weldon Smith), Trent (Tracy) and Philip (Tracey); grandchildren, Crystal, Christopher, Desiree (Thomas), Robyn, Noah; siblings, Helen (Gordon Woodford), Emma Callahan, June (Hubert Vatcher), Loretta Fifield; sisters-in-law, Gloria and Shirley Nicholas and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Saturday, April 21st from 7-9 PM and Sunday, April 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte on Monday, April 23rd at 2 PM. Interment will take place from the United Church Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
