Glendon Lloyd Wagner

WAGNER, Glendon Lloyd – age 71 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born in Digby, he was the son of the late Willard and Betty (Trimper) Wagner.
Glendon started working in Banff, AB at a young age.
He later returned to Nova Scotia and worked at the Digby Dairy as a milk truck driver, delivering milk door to door.
Later, he worked for the Town of Digby and lastly working at various fish plants including Alan Franklin Fisheries, Casey Fisheries, Carey Edwards & Leon Longmire picking up scallops from the fishing boats.
Glendon’s interests included family get-togethers, deer and moose hunting, and he also enjoyed various types of music.
Glendon attended the Digby Wesleyan Church and had a strong faith in the Lord. He had a very kind heart and was always thinking of others.
Glendon is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lynn Wagner; daughters Laurie (Ronnie) Carter, Yarmouth; Cindy (Don) Dufour, Maine, US; Karen (Harold) Prime, Coldbrook; Natasha (Matt) Robinson, Digby; sons Mark (Melissa Marshall), Centerville, Kings Co. and Josh, Digby; sisters Ruth Specht, Digby; Violet (Garnet) Francis, Berwick; Cheryl (Mac) D’Ambrose, Mt. Pleasant; Kim (Rick) Melanson, Weymouth; Vicky (Paul) Mitchell, Dartmouth; grandchildren twins Kyle (Tracy) Potter and Brandon (Jane) Potter; Sam Dufour; Noah and Emily Prime; Tristan Wagner; Lauren Robinson; Annabelle and Elizabeth Wagner; great-grandchildren Leanne and Gavin Potter; Weston Potter. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Marsha Lewis and daughter-in-law Shelley Wagner. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. MacDonald, Dr. Chahal, Dr. Ntambazi, Dr. Moses and the nurses of the ICU of Yarmouth Regional Hospital for the exceptional care given to Glendon. Your efforts and compassion will forever be remembered. In keeping with Glendon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Digby Wesleyan Church, 84 Victoria Street, Digby, with Pastor Andrew Maves officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glendon’s memory may be made to the South Range Cemetery, Digby County and the Digby Wesleyan Church.
