It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nellie Emmeline (Mclaughlin) Jones in the early hours of April 13, 2018 at the white rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction at the age of 89. Nellie was born June 20 1928 in Central Blissville, NB.
She is survived by; her 3 sons, Elwood Jones. Eugene Jones (Diane) of Tracy, Jim Jones (Tania) of Fredericton Junction. Her chosen son, Brian Mott. And two grandchildren; Richard Woodcock (Angela), and Matthew Jones.
She is predeceased by; her husband Clair Jones, her mother Mary Elizabeth Mclaughlin, her father Stanley McLaughlin, her daughter Joanne Jones, her sisters: Inez, Hazel, and Annie. Her brothers: Thomas, Arthur, Clarence, Robert, Norman and Vincent.
Nellie was a homemaker to her family, was a member of the Central Blissville Seniors Group, and enjoyed gardening.
Visitations for Nellie will be held Monday April 16 from 6-8pm at Sunbury Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Tuesday, 11am, at the Fredericton Junction Baptist Church with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating assisted by Rev. Jim Harrison. Internment following at Gladstone Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. John Richardson and the staff at White Rapids Manor for all the care they provided Nellie the many years she was a resident.
