David Nelson Byrt was born on October 9, 1977 in Bashaw, Alberta to parents Winnie and Barry Byrt. David passed away at the age of 40 on Saturday, March 31, 2018 near Erskine, Alberta.
David had a smile that was loved by everyone, and a profound zest for life, especially in his earlier years. Throughout his life David dabbled in multiple careers stemming from construction, to small engine work, hide hauling, but most of all he loved tinkering with anything automotive. When he loved he loved hard and unconditionally, this young soul so full of life was taken from us too soon.
David is survived by his mother Winnie Byrt of Stettler; sister Melanie Byrt Jackman (Jesse Dempsey) of Red Deer; girlfriend Michelle Robinson; niece Marleigh Jackman; nephew Daniel Jackman; cousins Kelly Byrt and Donovan Byrt; as well as other family members and many dear friends.
