James G. “Jimmy” Mossman
September 5, 1946 – March 12, 2018
MOSSMAN, James Gerald – It is with great sadness that the family of James “Jimmy” Gerald Mossman, Age 71, announces his accidental death on March 12th, 2018. He was the son of the late Gerald M. and Violet (Jewer) Mossman. Loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. His main priority in life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife Janet Ann of over 40 years; son David (Carol), Dartmouth; and daughter Amanda, Dartmouth; sisters Karen Carter (John) Shaunavon SK; Lana Corkum (Bob), Halifax; and Kathy Rock (Michael) San Jose CA; and several nieces and nephews. His second priority was his work with Stantec/Jacques Whitford of over 45 years and Wornock Hursey Ltd. His third priority was keeping his famous work van/office on the road. He was well known for his excellent work habits, organizational skills and his sense of humor. A celebration of life will take place at 11AM on Monday, March 19, 2018, in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Portland Street, Dartmouth followed by a light reception. Interment will be at Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
