Obituary for Sharlene “Susie” Lowry (Baker)
Passed away peacefully in her home on March 15, 2018, in her 72nd year. She was a loving wife of the late James (Jim) Lowry, mother of Christine Lowry and Kelly (Jon) Ostrander, and caring grandmother of Logan, Jarett, Alexis Shannon, Seth Benoit, Jakob and Owen Ostrander. Predeceased by her parents George and Helen Baker, brother Bert Baker, and sisters Linda Lowry and Debbie Villeneuve. Survived by brothers Arthur (Linda), Bob (Sharon), Mark, Tony, and Carl (Lucy) Baker.
Sharlene worked at Caldwell Linen Mill in Iroquois, RCA in Prescott, Dominion Grocery Store in Prescott, Steinburg Grocery Store in Brockville, owned and operated the Sunshine Boutique in Prescott and Brockville, and Compas in Brockville.
Special thanks to Dr. Somani and Dr. Nikhil Bhatt and best friend Mary Ann Campeau.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Wednesday, March 21st from 11 am – 12 pm. A ceremony celebrating Sharlene’s life will follow in the chapel at 12 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Girls Inc. of Upper Canada will be gratefully acknowledged.
