Lorraine McLeish (February 15 1954 February 28 2018)

It is with great sadness the family of Lorraine Daria McLeish announces her passing on February 28th, 2018.
Lorraine was born in Toronto on February 15, 1954 to Mary and Peter McLeish. She attended the University of Toronto where she received a degree in pharmacy. Following a number of years working as a pharmacist in Toronto, Lorraine moved to Dryden in the early 80’s to take a job at the Dryden Pharmacy. Lorraine continued to work in pharmacy for many years until she decided to spend more time with her first loves – her cats, reading and nature. Lorraine loved walks in the woods, being a friend to the earth and feeding her forest friends. She strived to continue learning about people, nature and the world and she collected a large and varied library. Lorraine eventually decided to return to the workforce and joined the wonderful team at Tim Horton’s.
Lorraine is survived by her sister Patricia (Joe), cousins Linda (Trevor), Gail, David (Christine), Debbie (Raymond), Russell (Donna), Blair (Karen), Susan, George (Anita), Eddie (Laurie) and many second and third cousins.
As per Lorrain’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
If friends desire donations may be made to Second Chance Pet Network through Stevens Funeral Homes P.O. Box 412, Dryden ON P8N 2Z1.Condolences may be posted at www.stevensfuneralhomes.ca
