Obituary

Wyonne Emma Joy Harding/Spence (nee Amy) passed away peacefully on the evening of March 2, 2018 in the Cranbrook Regional Hospital. Wyonne, a long-time resident of Kimberley, BC, started her life in Watrous Saskatchewan on Nov. 30th,1934. She was a young girl when her family first moved from Watrous to Pitchi Lake, BC and later to Kimberley, BC, where she lived out the rest of her years. Wyonne met her first husband Frank Spence at a Wasa dance; they married in 1952 and raised four children together. After the untimely passing of Frank, she later met and married her second husband Ed Harding.
Wyonne will be missed but lovingly remembered by her children: Kim (Vicki) Spence, Jamie (Orietta) Spence, Cindy (Dick) Wales, Jon Spence; her grandchildren Danette (Chad) Fritz, Sean (Amy) Spence, Ryan (Monique) Spence, Braden (Courtney) Wales, Amanda (Alex) Ried, Vanessa (Jeff) Kennerley, Michael Spence (Hono), Theresa Spence; her great grandchildren Brody, Haylee, Kayla, Chase, Josh, Mackenzie, Mya, Cade, Cash, Parker, Brynn, Ava; brother in law George Casavant; sister in law Elizabeth Amy; and many nieces and nephews.
Wyonne was predeceased by her first husband Frank Spence and her second husband Ed Harding, and her brother Bud Amy and sister Carol Casavant.
As per Wyonne’s request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers or cards, donations can be made to the Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank, 340 Leadenhall St, Kimberley, BC. Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com
