OBITUARY
Cheyenne Helen Marie Sekura
December 18, 1991 – February 22, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Cheyenne Helen Marie Sekura on February 22, 2018 at age 26.
Cheyenne will be lovingly remembered by her Mom Cindy (Norm), Dad Travis (Shawn), siblings; Cassie (Jamie), twin Sierra and special nephew Mason, Derry, Kristy, Nicole and Jassy. As well as her large extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to name.
Cheyenne was born in Edmonton, Alberta on December 18, 1991 where she lived until age 10 when she moved to White Rock and resided until her passing. She was a vivacious, compassionate and creative woman who was fiercely independent. She could walk into a room and her exuberant personality meant her presence was always known. She was determined to live life on her own terms.
The Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC. Cheyenne’s Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little joked that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well. “
