Abel Bourque
1935-2018
It is with sadness that the family of Abel J Bourque
announces his passing on Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Rogersville, NB, he was
the beloved son of the late Henri and Domethilde (Babineau)
Bourque.
Abel is survived by his sons, Brian and Kevin Bourque (Keng);
grandchildren, Marie Julie and Marie Katherine Bourque; brothers,
Thomas (Bella) and Elie Bourque (Geralda); sisters, Andrea and Yolande
Perry (John); as well as several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
In addition to his parents, Abel was predeceased by his wife,
Wanda Mary (Kern) Bourque; brothers, Eloi and Napoleon; as well as
sisters, Regina, Eva and Lorraine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6
– 9 pm at McAdam’s Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass
will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, March 9, 2018
at 12 pm noon with Fr. Monte Peters officiating. Donations in
Abel’s memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or
Hospice Fredericton.
