Peacefully on Tuesday, February 27 at Arbour Heights with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Wray Babcock. Predeceased by her parents Ross and Edith Peters. Sister of the late Carman Peters (Blanche) and Luella Simmons (Keith). Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews Murray Simmons, Donna MacArthur (late Lloyd), Paul Babcock (Erma), Mary Babcock (late Grant), Lorraine Babcock (late Clarke), late Clive Babcock (Mary), late Floyd Peters (Joan), late Flora Brown (Joseph), and late Garnet Peters (Rae). Aunt Ruth to many great, great great and great great great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Kennedy and staff at Portsmouth Park, Arbour Heights for the caring support of Ruth. Visitation will be held at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Saturday, March 3 from 10 – 10:50 a.m. with the funeral service following in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Wilton Cemetery. As expression an of sympathy, donations may be made to Wilton Community Association.
