Barbara Gault
It is with heartfelt sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara Gault on February 15, 2018. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 30 years, Greg; son, Collin; son, Sean and his wife Kaitlyn, along with their children Seth, Sophia, Benjamin, and Ava.
She will also be missed by her siblings, sister, Theresa (Provost); brother, Frank (Provost), sister, Anne (McDonald); sister, Cathy (Hamel); and brother, David (Provost); as well as her many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her parents Francis and Agnes Provost.
Barbara was raised in Saskatoon before moving to Ottawa with her son Collin to work for the Canadian Government at Foreign Affairs. From there she took a posting to Washington D.C where she met her husband Greg and son Sean was born before eventually returning to Ottawa. Barb and Greg eventually made their way back to Saskatoon where she worked for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Throughout her life Barbara enjoyed reading, especially anything by her favorite author Danielle Steel, tending her prolific plants and flower gardens, and in her later years loving and looking after her grandchildren.
She will be forever in our hearts and always on our minds

This cannot be. I worked with Barb at CFIA for 4 years….I’m shocked to hear of this tragic news. She was such a hardworking and meticulous person in everything she did. And she spoke highly of her children and grandchildren. My sincerest heartfelt condolences go out to all her family.
