Dale McMillin passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 61.
Dale was born to Roy McMillin and May (Arstall) McMillin on December 13, 1956; the 12th of 13 children. He left home in Saskatchewan in the fall of 1973 and resided in Calgary for the duration of his life. Many people came to know him from the years he worked at the Blackfoot Truckstop as the Janitor/Maintenance Person. He was proud of the full page photo of him published in the Calgary Herald, when they did a feature story about the Blackfoot.
Dale leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Victoria McMillin; son William Mcmillin; grandson Austin; brothers and sisters Dorothy Herridge of Vancouver, Clifford (Karen) McMillin of Saskatchewan, Ivan (Diane) McMillin of Calgary, Ted McMillin of Saskatoon, Lee McMillin of Calgary, and Marlene (Ted) Schmaltz of Spiritwood. Dale was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Ralph, Arthur, Henry, Robert, and Alvin, and his sister Elsie.
