ABERNETHY; SHIRLEY (BETTY)
Passed away peacefully, after a long and very courageous battle, on February 22, 2018 at the age of 82, in Ottawa. Dear wife of Bob, and loving mother of Sheila McConnell, Debra Cote (Roch), Kimberley McConnell, and Cheryl Cain (James). Proud grandmother of Corinna (Dwayne) and Justin, Keri Ann (Christian), Kendra (Matt), Katie (Kyle), Christina Jarvis (Phil), Jason (Elizabeth). Survived by sisters Joan Kettles (Gordie) and Joyce Labelle (Richard). Family and friends are invited to visit at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive ,613-692-1211 on Tuesday, February, 27 from 1:00 pm until the time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. For those who wish, contributions in her memory may be directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
