Ostroski – Janet Ann of Espanola passed away at the Espanola Regional Hospital on December 15, 2017 at the age of 96. Dear daughter of the late John & Julia (nee Malsalla) Starecki. Loving mother of Diane Paquette (husband John) of Webbwood, David (wife Lorraine) of Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Corinna, Jasmine Vocaturo (husband Pasquale), Shauna Ostroski Friars (husband Darryl), Lisa Zollner (husband Dan) and great grandmother of Noah, Karmen and Holly. Dear sister of Joe Starecki (wife Florence), Walter Starecki, Adela Purka, Bernice Stinka (husband Mike), Edward Starecki (wife Janet), and the late Poly Wilgosh, Mary Wionzek, Helen Rail, Frank Starecki, Nellie Duttenhoffer, and Elsie Chumura. A memorial mass celebrating Janets life will take place on Monday January 8, 2018 at 10 AM at the St Jude R.C.C. Interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date in the spring.
