Obituary of Catherine Annable
Annable, Catherine Jane (nee Uren) – April 17,1935- February 5, 2018. Catherine passed away peacefully Monday evening after a long battle with Parkinson disease. She was surrounded by her loving family at Deer Park Villa in Grimsby where she had resided for the past 6 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Lonny Annable (1992) and loving mother to Wayne (Nancy) Annable, Vicki (Brian) Costiff, Shari Annable-Pemberton and Scott (Eveline) Annable. Cherished grandmother of Krystle (Ryan), Tally, Keely, Matthew, Christopher (Maria), Michael, Stephanie, Eric, Sarah, Bradley, Garrett, Daniel. and great grandmother to Hayden, Aubrie and Charlie. Catherine is also survived by her loving sister Evelyn (Merton) Hambly.
Her life was also greatly enriched by her extended family and by the many special friendships she had developed over her lifetime. Catherine was an RN at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for many years as well as an active member of Trinity United Church in Beamsville. She had a passion for giving and spent many hours volunteering for her favourite charities. A special thank you for the care and compassion she was given at Deer Park Villa.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church, Beamsville on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1 pm. Donations can be made in memory of Catherine to Trinity United Church Beamsville or West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.
