Bridget Eleanor Hatch, age 92, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Hillside Manor. Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Patrick and Ann (Pettipa) Hatch. Predeceased by her husband John Hatch (Dec 19, 1979). Survived by her sister Margaret Forester and nieces and nephews; Marlene (Cameron) McLean, Margaret (Arthur) Fairrie, June (Terry) Palmer, Linda Beazley, Brenda (David) Lewis, Bonnie McLaughlin, Patrick Beazley and William (Jan) Forester Jr. and their families. Survived by her grandchildren and their families; Wendy, Kelly and Michael. Besides her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by siblings Jean, Isabel (Cameron), Helen (Walter), Katherine, Margaret (William) and step daughter-in-law Helen (Ken) Harmer. Eleanor was a very active member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church as Eucharist ministry, reader and greeter along with helping coordinate Saint Vincent de Paul Society for many many years. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford. Burial to take place following the Mass in Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Restoration Fund or St. Vincent de Paul Society through the W. G.
