Obituary for Joan Beverly Thompson (Bowrin)
Peacefully and according to her wishes on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Ross Franklin Thompson. Dear daughter of the late Caroline Ethel Moore and William Henry (Harry) Bowrin, sister of Keith Bowrin (Mary) of Kemptville, and predeceased by her sister Mary Helen Bowrin. Loving mother of John Ross (Sandy), Jill Wanless (Chris), Carol Elizabeth Trottier (Alan) and Lianne Jessie Headrick (Drew). Grandmother (Nana) of Benjamin, Zachary, Molly, Jessie, Collin, Jamie and Emma, and great Grandmother (great Nana) to Lily, Liam, Teagan, Trip and Tate. We wish we could go back to page one and do it all over again but Nana had some favorite quotes to help us: “Keep going”, “Everything will be alright in the end”, and “Show me the way to go home”. We love you Nana . Family will receive friends at the home of Lianne and Drew Headrick in Kemptville on Saturday, February 3 from 2-4 pm to celebrate Joan’s life. Donations to Kemptville District Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
