Mark Steeves
1967-2018
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Mark Richard Steeves of
North View, NB, passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on
January 30, 2018.
Mark was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on March 23, 1967. He was the son
of Jeanne Steeves (Brown) and the late Gordon Steeves. Besides his
mother, who lives in North View, NB, Mark leaves behind his loving
wife, Kimberley Steeves; his children, Ethan Steeves (Elizabeth McRae)
of Fredericton, NB and Emma Steeves (Colten Davenport) of Kilburn, NB;
his sister, Krista Dunham (Curtis) of Durham Bridge, NB; his brothers,
Kevin Steeves (Annette) of North View, NB, and Craig Steeves
(Lorraine) of Spruce Grove, AB.
Mark was predeceased by his father; his brother-in-law, Billy Joe
Bowmaster; and his nephew, Brycen Dunham.
Mark loved many outdoor activities. Among them, hunting, fishing,
camping, and boating were his favorites. But his most favorites
pastime was just spending time with his family.
Respecting Mark’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service held.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Mamma Bear Cancer Fund
would be appreciated by the family.
Mark’s family would like to say a special thank you the staff of Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital for the care given to Mark during his stay
there.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
