1946-2018
Odila Allain, 71, of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family, at the Dr Georges L Dumont UHC, Moncton, on
Sunday January 28, 2018. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the
late Amédée and the late Odile (Melanson) Maillet.
She will be sadly missed by her four children: Monique Daigle (Eldon)
of Richibouctou, Richard Brun (Norma) of Grande-Digue, David Ferguson
(Charline) of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, Joey Ferguson (Christine) of
Cocagne, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as the
father of her children, Sidney Ferguson of Tracadie. She also leaves
to mourn her sister; Jeannine Doiron (Vincent) of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent
and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one adopted sister, Thérèse.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche, on Friday February 2, 2018 from 2
to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean
Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday February 2, 2018
at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Odila’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
