Obituary for Betsie Lucas
Lucas, Betsie – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Betsie Lucas at Wellington House Prescott on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the age of 74. Betsie is predeceased by her husband Ken Lucas. She is survived by her sisters Johanna Houweling of Dresden, ON, Diane (Ray) Foster of Brockville, ON, Marg Kirkey of Johnstown, ON, Mary Harvey of North August, ON and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Gerharda Onland, brothers Ben and George Onland and brothers-in-law Peter Houweling, Don Kirkey and Stewart Harvey. Family and friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Wednesday, January 24 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, January 25 at 1:30 p.m., with a reception to follow. Donations to the Diabetes Canada or the OSPCA would be appreciated.
