Obituary for Adrienne McIntyre
McINTYRE, Adrienne J. – At the Woodstock Hospital on Monday January 15, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Simon McIntyre (1994). Dear mother to Robert (Carmin) McIntyre, Lynn (Russell) Mitchell and Jo-Ann Galdu. Loved grandmother of Shawn (Isabelle) Marynuk, Neil (Michelle) Marynuk, Nicholas Gladu, Simon Gladu and great grandmother of Dmitri Marynuk. Dear sister to Robert Nadeau, Claudette Brennan, Eileen Arsenault, Lillian Watt, Lorna Nadeau and Sara Nadeau. Mom was born in Charlo, New Brunswick, married the love of her life, became a nurse there and they eventually they moved to Sudbury. Her passion for helping and caring for people shone is everything she did. She was always smiling, and had a heart of gold, family was so important to her and she had her favorite nieces and nephews (they know who they are). She was an avid dancer, and loved to sew, play piano as well as any crafts she could master. She had a love for animals that was evident in everything she did. She used to say that if you’re going to do something for someone to do it out of the goodness of your heart not to benefit from it. She was as humble as she was beautiful inside and out. Mom had a beautiful heart and will be missed so much, our hearts are broken but we were so blessed to have her. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday January 20, 2018 from 6-8 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday January 21, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery following cremation. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Personal online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
