It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Pauline on January 9, 2018, of natural causes, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of Lloyd Wyman (predeceased 1997). Devoted mother of Rod Wyman (Janet) of Sudbury and Rhonda Wyman (Jane) of Toronto. Precious Nan to Anthea Wyman-Bradley (Richard Bradley) of Newfoundland and Taylor Wyman (Laura Furchner) of Sudbury. Pauline faced adversity head-on her entire life and did so with humour and confidence. She was kind, caring and considerate; a voracious reader, amateur word-smith, and a woman with an infectious laugh. Pauline had maternal instincts “well ahead of her time”, when she would actively encourage her grandchildren to “write or draw their thoughts, dreams and aspirations” on the kitchen wall, “so that you never lose sight of them”. Her favourite song was … “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey, you never know Dear, how much I love you, please don’t take my sunshine away”. She sang that song with reverence and conviction. She also outshone in the kitchen. Her compassion extended beyond us mortals to animals of every kind and in particular the late, great, family pet Montana; with whom Pauline relentlessly spoiled every day of her life. As per Pauline’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place at the COOPERATIVE CREMATORIUM, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque only to the Sudbury area Pet Save would be appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Pauline Wyman 2018.source
