Obituary for Victor Swim
SWIM Victor Burton – age 83, of Harbourside Lodge, Yarmouth N.S., passed away on January 12, 2018. Born in Yarmouth on April 10, 1934 he was a son of the late Muriel Carolyn (Duncan) and William (Bill) Jeremiah Swim. Victor was one of the original residents and long time resident of Harbourside Lodge . He was a puzzle genius and had a passion for music and woodworking. Victor is survived by his sister M. Gaile Pitman and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Betty Cleveland and brothers, Verne and Courtney. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth where cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Sunday April 8th 2018 at 2 P.M. from Sweenys Funeral Home with Pastor Marlene Knowles officiating. Interment will follow in Brooklyn Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Harbourside Lodge or a charity of your choice.
