Obituary Overview
Kathleen Agatha “Kitty” Billard
Age 90 of Beaver Bank, passed away December 30, 2017 in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Hilvardt and Beatrice (Atwood) Poulsen.
She worked as an office and payroll manager at Maritime Canvas Converters. She was a lifetime member of the 50 Plus Club where she enjoyed crib and darts. She also enjoyed traveling, bowling, bingo, and Saturday night card games. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Kitty was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Denise,
Robert, Ben, and Matthew; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben, and her only son, Bob; brothers, Gordon, Douglas, and Edward; sisters, Ruth, Agnes, Jean, Mary; and siblings, Veronica and Leo in infancy; and best friend, Marge Deegan.
Kitty appreciated all that was done for her by her grandson Ben; nieces, Nancy, Judy, Kimberly and her friend, Cathy.
Service will be held Saturday January 6th at 10 am in St. John Vianney Parish, Lower Sackville. Reception to follow. Interment to take place at Camp Hill Cemetery, Halifax.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
