It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edward DeRoche on January 2, 2018 with family by his side. Formerly of Tignish, P.E.I. Loving husband of Anne (nee Bering). Dearest father of Kenneth and wife Lynn DeRoche of Virginia, David DeRoche and wife Carol White of Windsor, Helen and husband Ron Lebert of Lakeshore, Susan and husband Jim Steer of Caledon. Cherished grandfather to Jason ( Brittany ), Jake (Marissa), Michael (Meghan), Danielle, Katie (Eric), Dustin and Trevor. Great-grandfather to Brooklyn and Lauren. Dear brother to the late Felicia, Gerard , Frances and James. Edward will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and faithful companion, Bella.
He was a retired steam fitter from the UA Local#527. Eddy was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He devoted 39 years of his life to support people in recovery.
If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Visitation Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday 4:30 p.m. at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor , 519-969-5841.
On Saturday, January 6, 2017 family and Friends and family are invited to gather after 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Atonement Church ( 2940 Forest Glade Drive ) followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m.
Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens .
