Mr. Butch MacMaster
At Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Sunday December 31st, 2017, Mr. “Butch” MacMaster of Chatham in his 85th year. Cherished son of the late Morley and Eva MacMaster. Beloved husband of Mary-Lou. Loving brother of Jane Smith (the late Bob) and predeceased by his sister Mary Champagne and brother George MacMaster. Butch enjoyed over the years his involvement in minor sports in Chatham. He was a past president of the chapter of the Chatham Jaycees, and a past vice president of the International Plowing Match. Butch began his working career at Labombards Auto Parts, and would later start Ray Mac Distributors, a locally-owned auto parts store in Chatham. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519 352 -2710 on Saturday January 6th with visiting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Tiffin officiating. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider Canadian Diabetes Association and the Salvation Army.
