Peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice on Friday, December 29, 2017, Cheryl Thompson (nee Smyth) of Morrisburg, age 73. Loving wife of Gerald Thompson. Loving mother of Dale Thompson of Manila, Geri Laws (Marc) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Patricia Hamilton (Robert) of Russell, Ian Anderson (Lesley) of Casselman, Daryl Hunt (Josee) of Ottawa and Leanne Morrison (Chris) of Comox, B.C. Dear sister of Sandra Beckstead (Paul) of Iroquois and Cindy Shaver (Robbie) of Iroquois. Cheryl will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Marc, Brenton, Tevynn, Tamara, Evan, Madison, Ethan, Carter, Nolan and Dylan. Predeceased by her parents Mac and Isla Smyth (nee Barkley) and her brother-in-law Steven Morrow. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Thursday, January 4th from 11 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg. Donations to Dundas County Hospice, Leukemia Research or Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
