Obituary Overview
Gary Alfred McDonald
It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of our Father, Grandfather, and best friend Gary Alfred McDonald. He passed away suddenly at the Dartmouth General Hospital on Tuesday Dec 19th 2017. He was the only Child of the late Alfred (Ralph) and Helen McDonald. We know he is very happy to be reunited with his mom, whom he loved and missed dearly (an unbreakable bond). He meant so much to so many. He was comical, quick witted, and not afraid to speak his mind. He was full of stories, and sometimes told them a few times over, that’s what I’ll miss the most. He loved watching all sports, and I think enjoyed yelling plays at the t.v., He was an avid Montreal Canadians Fan. He was a devoted, supportive, and loving father to Erin (Cory) and Angela (Jeffery) He was always there for his Children to matter what. He was an amazing Grandfather and always enjoyed visits from his grandbabies Jessica , Diontai, Danayah, Nevaeh, and his new addition that he was so excited and trying to patiently wait to meet Arràlynn. His strength, Bravery, and courage saw him through many battles throughout his life, he always managed to break through and conquer anything thrown his way. Besides his parents Gary was also predeceased by grandchildren Johnathan, Baby Dwight, jaylisha and Jayda. Gary will also be deeply missed by his 2 dogs, his pride and Joys Coco and China. He loved them with all his heart. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Monday Jan 8th 2018 at 10am at Atlantic Funeral Home. At 125 Sackville Drive. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gary Alfred McDonald 2018.source
