Tel for 42 years, retiring in 1982 with fond memories of living in Moncton, Newcastle, Bathurst, Woodstock, Fredericton and Saint John. He was an avid sports fan and spent many enjoyable hours coaching youth hockey and ball teams. He was the charter secretary of the Nashwaaksis Y’s Men’s Club in 1960. He also served as Sports Director for the Town of Nashwaaksis. As an active member of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Saint John, he served on many boards and committees, including many years as a deacon. He also served as Christian Service Brigade Director for the Saint John area.
