Life Story for Vera Pocock Woods
Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25th, 2017 at the Allendale Long Term Care in Milton. Beloved wife of 56 years to Lance Pocock. Loving mother to Lori (Stephen) Vandereyken and Leah (Joe) Pinheiro. Forever remembered by her grandchildren; Michael Vandereyken, Bennjamin (Michelle) Vandereyken, Alexandra (Justin) Saftic and Christian Pinheiro (Emily Jasmin) and by her Brother Wesley (Lois) Ebbs. She will be sorely missed by her great-grandchild Cole Vandereyken. Vera is predeceased by her parents Constance and Clifford Ebbs and her brother Bruce (Patricia) Ebbs. Loving Aunt to Sally, Jennifer, Christopher and Kevin. A special Thank-You to all the staff members at Allendale Long Term Care for their excellent care. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, December 30th, 2017. A Celebration of Life for Vera will be held Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 12pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Vera to Canadian Cancer Society, Parkinson’s Society and Palermo United Church would be appreciated by the family.
