The family sadly announces the passing of Thérèse at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the age of 86 years with her family by her side. Wife of the late James McGrath. Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Rose (née Roy) Thériault. Loving mother Paulette Sénéchal (Robert), Harvey (Lynda) and Caroline McGrath (Chris). Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Cherished grandmother of André (Veronica) and great-grandmother of Robert and Maurice. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Thérèse loved her family passionately. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and listening to country music. She was most at peace when she knew her family was safe, when her home was clean and orderly, and when she had a room with a view. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Extendicare Falconbridge and Health Sciences North for their kind and compassionate care. As per Thérèse’s request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Dominique Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
