Shaina Lynn Ridenour

It is with intense heartbreak and pure devestation that we announce the passing of our beautiful Shaina Lynn Ridenour on the morning of Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the tender age of 16 years. She was a spunky ray of sunshine whose biggest smile could light up any room. Her indescribable laugh will be missed. In addition to the deep love she had for her family and friends, Shaina was a lover of animals and sports and was extremely passionate and talented when it came to rugby. She will be incredibly missed and forever loved by her parents, mom Bonnie Stapleton (David Dimo) and dad Billy (Janice) Stapleton; her siblings, Breyanna Ridenour, Nicholas Dimo, Chezlynn Stapleton, Alexandra Dimo, Tanner Ridenour, Chelsea Stapleton, Caitlin Ridenour, Emma Faith Stapleton and Cash Stapleton; grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Ridenour; her many aunts and uncles, Lee (Carrie) Herle, Jackie (Harold) Oliver, Dale (Carrie) Ridenour, Bryan (Anne) Stapleton, Shane (Lisa) Stapleton, Eddie Stapleton, Charmaine (Mike) Greenlaw, Maura (Brian) Brady, Verna Stapleton (Colin), Lucy (Leo) Devoe, Judy (Steven) Dolhanty, Corrie Stapleton, Paula (Glenn) Edwards, Starr (Patrick) Wilkie and Suzanne Stapleton, along with their families. A huge void will also be left in the hearts of her many friends, teachers and fellow students of FMHS and Outreach, as well as by coaches and team members of the FMHS Amazons. Shaina was predeceased by her grandparents, Eddy and Mary Stapleton and uncle, Mark Stapleton. Shaina’s life will be celebrated at the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5745 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to pay their respects to Shaina can do so before her Celebration of Life, beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Memorial donations in Shaina’s name may be made directly to the FMHS Amazons Rugby Team.
