1932-2017
Bathurst – Samuel Lanteigne, 85, of
Rough Waters Dr., Bathurst, husband of Hénédina
(Duguay) Lanteigne, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, on
Monday December 18, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital,
Bathurst.
Born in Bas Caraquet, he was the son
of the late Lange and Marguerite «Maggie» (Lanteigne)
Lanteigne.
He was retired from Brunswick
Mines.
Besides his wife, he is survived by
eight sons: Réginald (Edna) of Allardville,
Réjean of Beresford, Coral (Charline Leger) of Dieppe,
Sylvain (Clothilde) of Pokesudie, Adrien (Shawna) of Big River and
Edgar, Roger, and Renaud (Lina) all of Bathurst.
Four Daughters: Angelina Gionet
(Pierre), Majella Lanteigne, Colette Lanteigne (Vance Doiron) and
Cathy Lanteigne (Roger Hachey) all of
Bathurst.
Many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Four sisters: Edwina Friolet,
Médora Raiche, Jeannette Godin (Lionel), all of Allardville
and Aurèla Chiasson of
Bertrand.
Several sisters-in-law, nieces and
nephews.
He was pre-deceased by five brothers:
Augustin, Joachim, Rhéal, Albénie and
Lorenzo.
The family will receive relatives and
friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton’s
Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com.), Bathurst. Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Saturday December 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. from Our
Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.
