Baxter, Ruth Doreen (nee Jarvis)
Former resident of Ayr and Paisley, Ruth passed away surrounded by family at Lanark Heights Long Term Care in Kitchener on Sunday September 17, 2017 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Frank (2008). Loving mother of Patricia McBride (late John) and Joan La Croix (Edward). Proud grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Josephine Jarvis. Dear sister of Clarence (Pat), Hugh (Georgina), John (Sharon) and the late Walt (Elsie), Mary (Bob), Jean (Bob) and Gladys (Bob).
Ruth’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 and from 2:30-3:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Paisley Cemetery on Friday September 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
