DODD, Ronald Augustus – Passed peacefully away at his home on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Ronald Dodd aged 74 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret (Margie)(1994); son, William (Billy)(1999); parents, William and Mary Dodd; brothers: Leo, Doug, Gerald, Matthew and Bill; sisters: Mary and Eileen. Leaving to mourn, daughters Elsie (Randy) and Michelle; son, Ronnie; grandchildren: Demetra, Maggie, Jared and Billy; great-grandson, Damien; sisters-in-law: Sheila, Stella (Fred), and Betty; special sister and friend, Elsie (Verne) Patten; close family friend, Eric (Roz); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron retired after 32 years of service with NL Power, in 1993. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to The Vera Perlin Charitable Foundation. The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, August 13, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Sunday, August 14, from 12noon-4pm. Funeral service will take place from Corpus Christi Parish on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 9:30am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
