Obituary for Roger Constant Gladu
In loving memory of Roger Gladu, 77 years, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of the late Noëlla (née Larocque) Gladu. Dear friend of Claire Vallière. Loving father of Diane Rienguette (Brian), Colette Cameron (Vern) and Richard (Debbie Savard). Cherished grandfather of Kevin (Jennifer), Lisa (Cameron), Brent (Leah), Dean (Carolynn), Jenny (Bubba), Samantha (Jay), Cassandra (Scott), Vanessa, Ryan and great-grandfather of Noah, Bria, Aila, Greyson, Olivia and Teaghan. Dear son of Louis and Marie Louise (née Gascon) Gladu (both predeceased). Dear brother of Noella Desjardins, Fernande Gervais, Lucille Paquette (John), Sylvio, Fernand, Raymond, Robert (Claire), Donald (Francoise) and Gerard (Gilberte). Predeceased by Edouard, Claire, Lucien, Armand, Pauline and Aline. Brother-in-law of Marcel and Carol Larocque, and Jackie Ketcheson. Roger worked for Palm Diaries, Intercity trucking and then became a self-employed electrician. He enjoyed spending his time ice fishing, hunting, gardening and golfing. He was happiest when surrounded by his family. A celebration of life will be held Thursday November 23rd, 2017 at 1p.m. at Diane and Brian’s house. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer’s Society. Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium, Chelmsford. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
