Badgerow, Robert (Bob) 1939-2017
The family announces with sorrow his death in Oshawa, Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Loving husband of Connie (Consuelo) Badgerow (née Leyson). Beloved father of Andrew of Brampton (Carmen), Robbie of Sudbury (Colleen), Joanne of Sudbury (Partner Nick), Jackie of Oshawa (Charles), Mark of Edmonton, Alberta (Marie). Predeceased by his son Benji (September 1995). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Danny, Arlene, Jason, Kaila, Kathy, Jessie, Joshua, Ella, Damian, Kyanna, Hayden and by his great grandchildren, Nixon and Scarlett.
Bob worked for INCO for 27 years; he was a Christian and a lover of horses. In his younger years he was known for challenging people to a good old fashion foot race and had the fastest legs around. He was always ready to play cards as he was known for his crafty card playing and was always on the winning team “not”. He loved his music and from time to time he would belt out an old fashion yodel. He will be missed and forever loved.
Family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, 17 Rutland Street, Warren, on Friday, December 1st 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday friends may call after 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
