Matthew, Robert Murray
October 12, 1927-December 9, 2017
Beloved Husband of Germaine (Née King- 1996), Devoted father of Gregory Matthew (1986), Karen Matthew (Darrel Thompson) and Robin Matthew.
Grandfather of Tricia Dalton- Matthew, Greg Dalton- Matthew (Dana), Shawn Laporte (Sara), Shane Laporte, Ashley Laporte-Marentette (Tyler), Deneca Schiller, Steven Matthew and Ryan Matthew. Robert will be missed by his six great grandchildren. Caring brother to Shirley Allen (Ronny), the late Eileen Bellamy, Helen Bechard and Betty Letourneau, all of Chatham. Robert is missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family, including best friends of Al and Rita Bellaire, Cecile Dennison. Bob was a long time employee of Big V, and spent many years working between the Belle River and Essex stores.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 15th, 2017 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
