Robert Ernest «Bobby» Johnston
1934-2017
Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Thursday, November 23, 2017
of Robert Ernest «Bobby» Johnston of Charlottetown age 83
years. Born in Charlottetown PEI on Sept. 17, 1934 to the late Ray and
Mary (Larter) Johnston, Bobby was a long term resident of Bayfield
St., and a well known taxi driver.
Bobby is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews;
Barry & Louise Burley of Montague, Debbie & Melvin
Ramsay of Milton, Sharon & Robert MacEachern of West Royalty,
Susan & Doug Harvey of Crapaud, Sandy and Terry Bernard of
East Royalty and John Burley of Charlottetown. He is also lovingly
remembered by his Aunt Helen Robertson (nee Johnston) and numerous
cousins.
Bobby has been predeceased by his Sister Eileen Mary (nee
Johnston) Burley, Aug. 9th , 1977 and her
husband Frank Lincoln Burley, Feb. 24th , 2006,
and by his half sister Norida MacLean (nee Ryan) July
14th, 2012.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral
Home, 33-35 Longworth Ave., Charlottetown for visiting hours on
Monday, November 27th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28th
with funeral mass from The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer rat 1:00
p.m . Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Charlottetown.
