Richard (Rick) Kutcher of Dauphin, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the age of 73 years.
Rick will be lovingly remembered by his family. He is survived by his children, Dan (Janpen) Kutcher of Red Deer and Kari (Ayush) Kumar of Winnipeg; his grandchildren Jayden, April, and Divya; and siblings Bernice (John) of Pinawa and Barry of Dauphin. Rick will also be remembered by his extended family including cousins, nieces, and nephews.
For many years, Rick was a District Manager with Centra Gas in Dauphin. He also enjoyed farming as a secondary occupation with his brother Barry, on the farm where he spent a lot of time in his childhood helping his father. Rick loved to travel, especially to warm locations, with Mazatlan, Mexico being his favorite destination. He often thought about moving someplace warmer, but just couldn’t quite make a move because of his strong attachment to Dauphin, his family, and his farm. Following his retirement from Centra Gas, Rick continued to farm for several more years, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
A service will be held for Rick on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin.
Flowers are respectfully declined. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Rick can be made to Palliative Care at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre.
