Arsenault. Richard Edmond
October 15, 1936- November 19, 2017
Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Met Hospital at the age of 81 with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband of Theresa (Guilbeault) Arsenault of 56 years. Cherished father of Jim Arsenault (2011), Doug Arsenault (2012), Ron Arsenault (Debbie) and Bob Arsenault. Gone home to be with his parents Wilfred and Josephine Arsenault and siblings Fred, Theresa, Dorothy, Muriel, Leona and step brothers and sisters, Mary, Walter, Isabelle, Albert, Gerald, and Jen. Richard had 9 grandchildren, Kristen, Courtney, Ryan, Brittany, Alysia, Amanda, Allison, Adam, Daniel and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Richard was a mechanic for Chrysler Canada and has been enjoying retirement ever since. Vacationing in Silver Springs Florida in the winter months and when home for the summer spent time at Rochester Place and toured Canada with his motorhome. Richard was also a dedicated coach for the St. Clair Shoreline Hockey Association. The family would also like to thank the caring people and staff at Windsor Regional Hospital, Hotel Dieu, Country Village (Woodslee), Brouillette Manor, and Extendicare Tecumseh who cared so passionately for Richard.Visitation will be held at Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh ON (519-735-2830) on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.Parish Prayers at 7:30pm. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. to St. Anne’s Church for the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
