Obituary for Pearl Collins
Mrs. Pearl Collins- passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at James Paton Memorial Hospital, on Friday June 23rd, 2017 at the age of 79.She was predeceased by her husband George in 2009 and her parents John and Emma Perry, brother Doug and sister-in-law Louise, sister Elizabeth, daughter-in-law Barbara and brother-in-law Lewis.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her eight sons Perry (Lucy ), Gary (Brenda ), George (Maxine),Tony (Tina),Doug (Nina ),Wade (Betty),Cory(Evelyn),Reg (Josephine ), two daughters Suzanne (Wilbert Collins ),Veta (Boyce Reid ).21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two brothers Earl (Joyce ),Winston (Melda), two sisters Mildred and Veta (Roy), and large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Resting at Fogo Island Funeral Home, family will be receiving visitors on June 24, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.Funeral service to take place on June 25, at 2pm, at the Church of the Holy Spirit. with Rev. David Hewitt Officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Church of the Holy Spirit building fund.
The family wishes to thank the Nurses & Staff of the Fogo Island Health Centre, a special thank you to Dr. Tarik A Bulbida for his generous care for our mother over the years.
To the staff of James Paton Memorial Hospital For.the care that our mother received from the ICU & General surgery was beyond our expectation.A big thank you to Dr. Burtally and Dr. Dobbin. Thank you to Fogo Island Funeral Home for the care and compassion of our mother during this difficult time.
