Micheline Crevier Bydlinski 1925 – 2015

Micheline Crevier Bydlinski Micheline Bydlinski (née Crevier) died peacefully at the VIGI CHSLD on May 19th, 2015 in Pierrefonds,Quebec at the age of 89. Micheline was born on November 8th, 1925 in Pierreville, Quebec to Onezime Crevier and Annette Crevier (Rousseau). Growing up Micheline attended Saint-Thomas-de-Pierreville Parish schools. After the death of her parents Micheline moved to Montreal with her sisters where she was trained as a seamstress in a dress shop in the mid-1940’s. Micheline met her future husband Kazimierz Bydlinski, a mechanical engineer with Dominion Engineering, Ltd who at the time was a recent immigrant to Canada. On June 14th, 1952, Micheline and Kazimierz were married at The Church of All Nations, UCC in Montreal. In 1958, Micheline and Kazimierz moved to Watertown N.Y. where her husband had taken a job with Black-Clawson Co, Inc, Bagley-Sewall Division designing paper making machines. During the 1950’s Micheline prospered as a wife, homemaker, and mother to three young children. She was active in her community especially the Wednesday night Ladies Home Bureau, Watertown Youth Hockey, BSA Den Mother, and the PTA. Micheline enjoyed traveling abroad to Europe and Bermuda with her sister Camille and her friends. As an accomplished seamstress Micheline was always creating wedding party dresses, tailoring, and providing clothes for her family. This lead to her work as a tailor at Boy’s and Men’s Specialty Shop in downtown Watertown. After the death of her husband she returned to Montreal to live and eventually returned to Notre-Dame-de-Pierreville close to her childhood home. Micheline was a generous person who was happiest helping a friend, taking care of her pets, and entertaining her grandchildren. Micheline is predeceased by her parents Onezime and Annette Crevier (Rousseau), husband Kazimierz Bydlinski, her sister Louisette Beaulac (Crevier), her brother Rene Crevier, and her sister Camille Thérien (Crevier). She is survived by her son Stephen Bydlinski and daughter-in-law Shelly Bydlinski (Blake Kaufman), grandson Phinley Bydlinski and his wife Bella Nicole Bydlinski (Bingham); her daughter Danuta Richards (Bydlinski) and her son-in-law Harry Richards, grandson Christopher Richards, his wife Sarah Sherman-Stokes and her great-grandson Ezra Sherman-Richards and her grand-daughter Jessica Richards; her son Gregory Bydlinski and daughter-in-law Karine Poulin, her grandchildren, Brandon Bydlinski, Megan Bydlinski, Laurie Ann Bydlinski, and Keith Bydlinski. She is survived by her sister Pierrette Crevier, her sister-in-law Joyce Crevier (Stokes) and brother-in-law André Thérien and their families. Micheline is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Lucette Gauthier (Beaulac), Gilles Beaulac, Nicole Hebert (Beaulac), Denis Beaulac, André Beaulac, Martine Beaulac (Beaupré), Laure Beaulac, Alain Beaulac, and Pierre Ives Beaulac and their spouses and children. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Micheline Crevier Bydlinski’s life at a memorial ceremony and reception. It will take place on Saturday May 30th, 2015, at La Maison Verte, 16981 Blvd Gouin, O, Pierrefonds, QC from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a memorial service at 1:00 pm. Light refreshments and alcohol will be served. Interment will be in the summer at Glenwood Cemetery in Watertown, New York at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Father Pierre Houle, 1003 Rue Awassos, Odanak Quebec J0G 1H0. The family would like to thank the nursing home caregivers of the VIGI CHSLD Pierrefonds for their care and dedication to Micheline during her stay.
