Mary Alba Campbell
1926-2017
At home, on Sunday October 15, 2017 of Mary Alba Campbell of
Grahams Road, PEI aged 91 years. Born in Grahams Road on
April 7, 1926 daughter of the late Bert Emerson and Elva Edna
(Bernard) MacKay. Wife of the late Earle Campbell.
Mother of Carl Campbell (Francis
Gallant), Mexico; Leigh (Bernadette) Campbell, St. Eleanors;
Larry (Christine) Campbell, Grahams Road and Lane
(Mariangela) Campbell, Victoria, B.C. Grandmother of Leigh James,
Anne, Ryan (Mary Ellen), Tyler and Spencer. Great-grandmother
of Kevin, Warren, Lucy and Elizabeth. Sister of Laura
(Duncan) Cole. Also surviving are a number of nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Miriam (Harold) Bernard, Charity
(Fred) Bernard and Elva Emeline in infancy.
The family would like to thank the everyone in the Home Care
team as well as Doctors Christine MacNearney and Helga Reisch for all
their support in allowing Mary to spend her final days at her
home.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. There will be
an opportunity to visit with the family on Saturday October
28th from 2 p.m. until time of an informal
service of song and memories in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 3
p.m. A memory box will be available for you to leave a favorite memory
or story for the family to read in the coming days.
Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Mary
has left specific instructions including « no flowers please, not
even one ». If so desired contributions may be made to
the Prince County Hospital Foundation or Anderson
House.
