WELSH, Marjorie E. (nee Catt) – It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Marjorie Welsh, in her 97th year, died peacefully in University Hospital on December 3, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Mother to Rosalind Chrzan, Christine (Paul) Burton and Gillian (Peter) Feenstra, and predeceased by husband Graham and son Robert Welsh. Grandmother and Bubby to Jennifer (Richard) Cook, Andrew (Candace) and David Chrzan, Michael (Shannon) Burton and Caroline (Michael) Chew, and Mark and Heather (Christopher La) Feenstra. Great grandmother to Amelia and James Cook, Michaela and Bradley Burton, William Chrzan and Colton Chew. Devoted sister to Audrey Green, Berkshire, England. Marjorie was born in Dover, Kent, England and was educated at Dover Grammar School for Girls and Whitelands College. Marjorie and Graham emigrated to Canada in 1947, settling in London in 1955. She was active at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church for over 50 years, and spent her final years in the caring hands of Longworth Retirement Residence. Her greatest joy was her extended family. Private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Living London would be appreciated.
